Hello, I see the John is visiting Majors & Quinn in Minneapolis at the end of May. Is there any chance he could also stop by our small bookstore while he is in town?
ReplyDeleteApologies if this is not the correct place to make contact. I couldn't find anything on McSweeney's page that seemed to apply.
Mayday Books is a non-profit, all-volunteer, independent bookstore. Our motto is "Not making a profit since 1975." Contact info: maydaybookstore (squiggly at sign) gmail.com
I look forward to reading the book. thanks!
Kristin for Mayday Books
Hi, Kristin. If you have some copies of A MOMENT IN THE SUN, we can try to come by Mayday so John can meet the staff and sign some books. How would that be? You know we love a store that quotes Joe Hill on its website.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Maggie. I saw John tonight at M&Q and got to meet him and have my book signed. I gave him my card and the M&Q folks gave us props (we shop at each other's stores!). Feel free to stop by next time you are in town!
